got to porthcawl nice and early expecting the gale but it was a bit mild. So rigged the 5.3m and after a few runs dicieded that the swell/waves looked a lot better over on ogmore side so me and Jamie sailed down ,everything going well hammering downwind on the big swells , had some good rides down but on landing the wind was so onshore and the waves to big to get back out. Had a long carry back up the beach untill enough of an angle to get out . By the time Igot back wind was stronger most guys out on 4.5/4.7m so changed board to JP . Not a bad day finished off with a broken harness line .
